What medical diagnoses should go on a medical ID?
When deciding what to put on your medical alert, think about conditions that are most likely to cause an emergency (EG: Diabetes or epilepsy) or be relevant during emergency treatment (EG: Blood thinner use, drug allergies). Less vital information is more appropriate for a wallet card or online health profile.

“I [am] concerned with meds that have severe reactions to other common emergency medicines. For medical conditions I am usually only worried about conditions that can cause an actual medical emergency, example, lethal cardiac arrhythmia, cancer or tumors that are a likely cause of this problem.” - Josh, RN, BSN
